There are three components of activities directly related to muscles: muscular endurance, muscular strength and muscular power. Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle or a group of muscles to sustain doing a work repetitively for a long time. Muscular endurance falls into two categories: static muscular endurance and dynamic muscular endurance.
Muscular endurance is measured based on the recurring muscle contractions against a resistance for an extended period of time. For example, activities to increase muscle's resistance include sit ups, push-ups and burpee exercise.
